Ya-Sea Park is a seaside park located about 8 minutes by car west of ONIWA.
It is a facility that is loved not only by tourists but also by locals, as it is adjacent to the Yasu Roadside Station and Yasu Station.
You can take your dog for a walk on the beach or on the lawns within the spacious grounds.
The parking lot at Roadside Station Yasu is free, so please use it if you are going for a walk.
(The gated parking lot at Ya-Sea Park is subject to a fee.)

Spending time enjoying the sound of the waves is the ultimate luxury.
The waves at Ya-Sea Park are calm, so you can also enjoy swimming in the sea.
If your dog seems interested, I think letting him experience the ocean a little will be a good memory for him.

The coastline is beautiful at any time of the day, but taking a leisurely stroll along the beach at sunset is also very lovely.
(Some shops at Roadside Station Yasu close at 6pm, so please be mindful of the times if you would like to visit either place.)
It's only an 8-minute drive from ONIWA, so please feel free to visit.

The park also has well-maintained lawns.
I'm a bit worried about walking on the wooden deck or the beach... Even dogs with weak legs or small dogs will be able to enjoy a walk on the soft grass.

At Roadside Station Yasu, there is a direct sales store for local vegetables, where you can purchase freshly picked vegetables and fruits from Kochi.
You might even come across some unusual local vegetables that are commonly eaten in Kochi!
The texture of freshly picked vegetables is completely different.
The price is surprisingly low, so give it a try.

Of course, you can also purchase souvenirs from Kochi at Roadside Station Yasu.
Although the store is small, it sells a selection of souvenirs, including Kochi's famous sweets, processed foods, and local sake.
We also pay special attention to the displays, such as decorating with cute POP signs to introduce recommended products.

There are also several cafes and restaurants at Roadside Station Yasu, so you can enjoy a meal there too.
